There are dozens of local eateries around Summit County, each with its own claim to fame. But date-night dining options should be a step above the rest. Check out these restaurants for some of the best date-night dining in every pocket of Summit County. From fresh and local foods to international and eclectic offerings, these top-notch dinner spots make a night out something special.   

5th Avenue Grille

423 Main Street, Frisco

5th Avenue Grille serves American gourmet in the form of small, shareable bites and entrees. Snag a couple of seats at the contemporary bar for a social experience and an expansive drink selection, or sit in the dining room for a more intimate meal. The Grille makes a killer flatbread to share as an appetizer, and they offer an amazing happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. if you want to have an earlier date.

Tavern West

311 W. Main Street, Frisco

The New American restaurant Tavern West combines classic favorites with fresh, local ingredients with gourmet style. The dining room has a modern and clean feel, and the outdoor patio (for summer only) has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Tavern West offers an upscale menu with favorites like Smoked Lamb Carnitas Tacos. Those on a budget should come from 4 to 6 p.m. for the same delicious menu with happy hour specials.

Pure Kitchen

116 Basecamp Way, Frisco

Pure Kitchen is an upscale, healthy dining option for fresh and clean eating. The menu features vegetarian, vegan and organic options in a bright environment. From fresh-squeezed juices (and juice cocktails) to the open kitchen view, Pure Kitchen is a great date spot for something new and trendy.  

Snake River Saloon & Steakhouse

2307 U.S. Highway 6, Keystone

Snake River Saloon & Steakhouse is the perfect spot for a dinner date after spending the day at Keystone or A-Basin. Well known for their steak and seafood, the fine dining room at Snake River offers true Colorado fare. There is also dancing and live music on the weekends to enjoy after a delicious meal or during a nice après cocktail at the bar.


200 S. Ridge Street, Breckenridge

Twist offers delicious fish, steak and vegetarian dishes, but with a twist. The internationally inspired eclectic menu is crafted from local, regional and seasonal ingredients. Don’t miss their dessert menu at the end of your meal. Twist is very accommodating for special dietary preferences.
