Big Beers in Breckenridge This Weekend

By Samantha Blair | Monday, January 6, 2020

The 20th anniversary Big Beers, Belgians & Barleywines Festival is back in Breckenridge this week, from Thursday, January 9, to Saturday, January 11. Voted as one of USA Today’s 10Best Beer Festivals, the three-day celebration of craft beers offers events, education opportunities, tastings, parties and more. Many of the events will happen at the Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center at the new Falling Rock Tap House. Some of the festival highlights include brewmasters’ dinners, food and beer pairings, beer and brewing seminars and the very popular Commercial Tasting. At the Commercial Tasting 175 breweries present nearly 600 beers, some of which are only available at the festival.

Don’t miss the fun happening across town in celebration of Big Beers. Find the full schedule of events online. Various event tickets and passes for sale online, or you can avoid e-ticket fees by getting tickets at Basecamp Wine & SpiritsThe Liquor Shed and Breckenridge Liquor (aka Skee Vue Liquor.)

Local restaurants and bars participate in the fun too. I've listed a few of the affiliate events around town, and you can find the full list here.
