Burro Days & Keystone's River Run Art Festival This Weekend

By Caitlin Row | Tuesday, July 23, 2019

There's a lot to do around Summit County this week, including two festivals: Burro Days in Fairplay and River Run Art Festival in Keystone.

The 71st annual Burro Days is Friday through Sunday, July 26 through 28. Although this event isn't technically in Summit County, a drive over to Fairplay from Breckenridge only takes 36 minutes. "Burro Days celebrates the role of the burro in mining days of old," according to organizers, and the fun includes gold panning, burro races, live music, arts and crafts, a barn dance and much more.

The fourth annual Keystone River Run Village Art Festival is Saturday and Sunday, July 27 through 28. More than 80 artists will be on site at River Run Village, and admission is free.
