It may be the shoulder season, but Summit County still has plenty of to offer. Take advantage of mud season deals and weekly events and specials throughout the month of May.

Tap it Tuesday

At 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, Dillon Dam Brewery will tap a special 5-gallon keg of the Brewmaster’s Special Stash. There will be $5 half pints and Taco Beer to sample.

Kenosha Steakhouse and Rita’s Eat.Drink.Give event is every Wednesday this spring. They will donate 5% of the total sales to local non-profits. On Wednesday, May 9, they will donate to the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center.

Night Group Bike Rides

Every Thursday at 5 p.m., come to Breck Bike Guides and meet new cycling buddies, work on your riding and get a good workout during the weekly trips. Rides are weather dependent and can be as long as two hours. All levels are welcome.

Free Tastings in May

Breckenridge Distillery will feature a new whiskey for free tastings each Friday in May from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

REI’s Anniversary

It’s REI’s One-Year Anniversary, and they are throwing a big shindig. Enjoy live music, treats from Red Buffalo Café, short classes on a product or activity, giveaways and visits from local non-profit guests. The event will take place during store hours from Saturday, May 5, at 10 a.m. until Sunday, May 6, at 6 p.m.
