Ice Castles

Ice Castles is a stunning display of twinkling lights in 25 million pounds of ice, sculpted into an acre-large ice castle in Dillon. Catch the Ice Castles Fire Performances with fire-breathing, spinning, hula and more on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are now available online.

Circles Around the Sun

Circles Around the Sun is playing at the 10 Mile Music Hall on Friday, January 4. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Backcountry Skiing 101

Colorado Adventure Guides is offering a free Backcountry Skiing 101 clinic on Wednesday, January 9, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Underground in Breckenridge.

Ullr Fest

Ullr Fest is back in Breckenridge for the 56th year from January 9 to 12. Celebrate winter with the world’s longest shot ski plus the Ullr Parade, Ullr bonfire and Ullr Ice Plunge. Register your float for the parade here.

Christmas Tree Recycling

Through January 26 you can bring your retired Christmas trees to the drop-off area at the Frisco Bay Marina for the Spontaneous Combustion Bonfire. All trees must be stripped of decorations, and they must be real trees (no plastic).

Big Beers Belgian & Barleywines Festival

The Big Beers Belgian & Barleywines Festival is coming January 10 to 12. The world-class festival features renowned brewmasters and brewery owners from around the world. Craft beer lovers can enjoy a brewmaster dinner, brewing seminars and the commercial tasting event with more than 400 beers from more than 150 breweries. Tickets are available online now.
