Let it Snow in Summit!

Winter is here! Snow boots, skis and ice scrapers are out, and we're embracing the colder temps. This week, indulge in some fine dining, warming beverages and live music before or after your snowy adventures.

Fun Stuff at Angry James Brewery

Angry James Brewery has a big week of activities planned. They are hosting trivia on Thursday nights starting at 7 p.m., with four rounds of questions plus beer, gift cards and more as prizes. On Tuesday, October 23, at 6 p.m., they are hosting a Pumpkin Carving Contest. A $15 entry gets you a pumpkin, carving tools and two drinks. Register by October 19.

Wine in the Pines

Enjoy a five-course meal paired with wine at the Wine in the Pines dinner at Keystone Ranch this Friday, October 19, and Saturday,  October 20, from 6 to 11 p.m. Keystone Ranch Executive Chef Thierry Matamoros will be preparing the meals. A-Basin Opens

With all this snow people are itching to get skiing. Luckily, A-Basin is opening this weekend, on Saturday, October 20, at 9 a.m.

Morning Jams

If you’re not quite ready to get after the mountains, take the mellow route and head to Red Buffalo Café for Morning Jams at 9 a.m. this Saturday, October 20. This week’s artist is Broke Down Rodeo.

Barre to the Bar

On Tuesday, October 23, head to Studio B Dance Center for the Barre to the Bar Fundraiser at 3:45 p.m. For $25 you can take a barre class and you will receive one free drink at Prosit. One hundred percent of the event’s proceeds will go to a local family in need. Register here.

Bogo Breakfast

Every morning from Wednesday through Sunday, mention this Everything Summit promotion to get buy-one-get-one-free breakfast at Tiki Mana Island Grill.

Dia de los Muertos

From November 1 to 3, celebrate Día de los Muertos with Breckenridge’s Creative Arts. The Day of the Dead festival commemorates those who have passed away with a colorful celebration. The event features community-built altars, installations, face painting and hands-on workshops.

Shopping Extravaganza

The 13th Annual Shopping Extravaganza is set for Saturday, November 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Outlets at Silverthorne. For $25, participants can enjoy a catered lunch, a wine tasting, entertainment, exclusive discounts and a prize ticket to win more than $50,000 in gift cards and prizes.
