March madness is upon us, and with a fresh coat of snow, visitors and locals are excited to get out and experience the best of Summit. Whether you're skiing, shopping, singing or celebrating your canine, there is bottomless fun in the county this week.

Friday, March 8, come see the fourth annual Bow Wow Film Festival at Warren Station in Keystone. Summit County Animal Control and Shelter is inviting all dog lovers to watch new and old movies about our favorite canine friends. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 ($5 for kids ages 5 and younger). All proceeds will benefit the shelter.
Come to the Snake River Saloon & Steakhouse at the heart of Keystone before the show for happy hour from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Enjoy $2 off all food and drinks, as well as fine dining options and a bar menu.
The fourth annual Frisco BrewSki is this Saturday, March 9, at Frisco Adventure Park and Frisco Nordic Center from 2 to 5 p.m. All ages and ski abilities are encouraged to participate and wear their best costumes. The skiing will take place on the groomed trails of the Nordic Center, and the after party will be at the Frisco Adventure Day Lodge. There will be prizes, snacks, refreshments and surprises throughout the day! Register here.

You have a few days left to visit the acre-large Ice Castles stunning display in Dillon before they close on Saturday, March 9. Tens of thousands of people have come to see the incredible castles featuring carved tunnels, fountains, slides, frozen thrones and towers. Tickets are available online.

10 Barrel Hella Big Air is Saturday, March 9, at Copper Mountain. Watch athletes take on a 60-foot big air jump and compete for a $20k cash prize. Bear Hands will perform a free concert from 4:20 to 6:30 p.m.

Open Mic Night
Every Tuesday night, swing into the Cala Pub & Restaurant in Dillon at 9 p.m. for Musical Open Mic Night hosted by Keith Synnestvedt.
As part of its 25th anniversary, Lake Dillon Theatre Company is hosting Specialty Nights, bringing like-minded patrons together to enjoy some of Summit's best food, drink and live entertainment before the night's performance. On Tuesday, March 19, it's Young Professionals Night at The Cake. From 5 to 6:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy appetizers, beer from Angry James Brewing Company and live entertainment by Larry Lacerte before The Cake begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $40. Performances of Bekah Brunstetter's The Cake are running at the theater from March 15 to 31.
The Summit County Habitat Restore in Silverthorne is celebrating its grand reopening on April 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be an all-day silent auction, refreshments from 12 to 2 p.m., live music and 25% discounts off everything in the store.
