Musical March in Summit County

With all of this fresh snow, you're probably playing outside all day. For those who need a rest day or an evening to relax, check out some of the amazing musical acts around the county this week and grab a bite to eat as you listen to live tunes.

Live Music

Copper Uncorked is this Saturday, March 16, from 2 to 5 p.m. Copper’s best chefs are competing to see who can create the best chicken wing and wine pairing. There will be a live DJ then live music by Anderson East. Tickets range from $25 to $35.

Come to Rocky Mountain Underground on Thursday, March 14, to hear TLoop from 7 to 9 p.m. Catch TLoop again on Friday, March 15, at Motherloaded Tavern from 5 to 8 p.m.

On Friday, March 15, Larry Lacerte is performing at Big Horn Bistro & Bar in Keystone starting at 6 p.m. Taste the seasonally inspired menu of “fine dining without all the fuss.”

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early at Highside Brewery on Friday, March 15, and watch “A Celebration of Ireland” by Four Shillings Short from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. There will be a $10 cover charge at the door. The artists will bring together folklore, music and the history of Ireland for a festive evening.

Jam band Harmonious Junk will play at the Snake River Saloon on Friday, March 15, at 8:30 p.m.

TenMile Hike and Dinner

On Monday, March 18, snowshoe or skin up Breckenridge from the base of Peak 9 to TenMile Station. At the top, you can enjoy a buffet dinner and dessert under a starry night sky. The event check-in will start at 6 p.m. at The Maggie Restaurant. Tickets cost between $20 and $25.

Coming Up

As part of its 25th anniversary, Lake Dillon Theatre Company is hosting Specialty Nights, bringing like-minded patrons together to enjoy some of Summit's best food, drink and live entertainment before the night's performance. On Tuesday, March 19, it's Young Professionals Night at The Cake. From 5 to 6:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy appetizers, beer from Angry James Brewing Company and live entertainment by Larry Lacerte before The Cake begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $40. Performances of Bekah Brunstetter's The Cake are running at the theater from March 15 to 31.

The Summit County Habitat Restore in Silverthorne is celebrating its grand reopening on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be an all-day silent auction, refreshments from 12 to 2 p.m., live music and 25% discounts off everything in the store.
