Prepare to Be Entertained This Week in Summit

From orchestra and parkour pros to acro yoga and a mac-and-cheese festival, there are events for everyone in Summit County this week.

Free Acro Yoga Jam

This Thursday, July 26, from 2:15 to 3:45 p.m. enjoy a blend of therapeutic healing massage, high-flying acrobatics, and yogic breathwork. The Free Acro Yoga Jam is open to all levels of participants. Students will learn to develop trust and confidence as they learn more complex shapes and forms.

NRO Season Finale

Friday, July 27, is the NRO season finale with the National Repertory Orchestra performing beloved composer Sergei Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 followed by two masterpieces by piano fellow Mio Araiat. This will take place at the Riverwalk Center starting at 7:30 p.m. You can purchase tickets here.

River Run Art Festival 

Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29, is Keystone’s River Run Village Art Festival. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. more than 80 artists from throughout the country will be showing off their finest works. The juried event is a great place to find unique art and a souvenir of Summit in the summer.

Lace Up Tour

Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29, is the Lace Up Tour at Copper. Pro Parkour Freerunner Jesse LA Flair, among other special guests, will host a clinic and demos. All skill levels are welcome. Mac & Cheese Fest

This weekend is also Copper’s 4th annual Mac & Cheese Fest. Taste delicious samples from creative chefs, test your tummy at the eating contest, dance with Miles Apart, Funk Nuss and SUSTO, and enjoy face painting and fireworks. Purchase your tickets here.
