Enjoy the quiet and peace of the backcountry without all of the touring ski gear. Snowshoeing is easy to learn and a great workout. Colorado Adventure Guides offers both mellow meadow strolls and peak bagging challenges. Find the perfect two-hour and half-day tours catered to your ability, preference and location.

Ice Fishing

While Lake Dillon is known for its summer fun, lots of cold-braving souls enjoy the reservoir during the colder months. Alpine Fishing Adventures (AFA) provides guided fishing trips out of Frisco Bay Marina. AFA provides ice fishing huts with heaters, gear, tackle, bait and ice fishing sonars. There are three levels of trips to choose from based on age, mobility, fishing level and interest. Kids age 10 and younger fish for free.

Arts & Crafts

If you need a break from the elements, spend a day crafting. Ready, Paint, Fire! lets you paint your own pottery, canvas and glass as well as create leather stamped jewelry. Beer and wine are available for purchase.
