Snowy Summit County Events

Summit is celebrating fresh snow with winter events of all kinds. Dance, learn, compete and relax during this week's happenings. More snow is expected in the upcoming week so President's Day weekend skiing is looking good!

Subaru Winterfest

This weekend (Friday, February 16, to Sunday, February 18) is Subaru Winterfest at Copper Mountain. Enjoy three full days of hanging out at Copper’s Burning Stones Plaza and Après Alley. There will be DJs, raffles, live music by Bleachers, s'mores, craft coffee and daily giveaways. Partners Nordica, Lib Tech, Thule, Klean Kanteen and more will have gear testing available. Bubble Gum Ski Race Series

Frisco Adventure Park is hosting the fifth annual Bubble Gum Race Series for six Mondays in February and March, starting with the dual slalom on February 19. Racers of all levels are welcome to the noncompetitive event, the perfect opportunity for children and adults to try out racing in a relaxed environment. Registration is free and is from 4 to 5 p.m. on the day of each event. Free hot cocoa and cookies will be at the Day Lodge post-race.

Ice Castles

Don’t miss an ice and LED light spectacular. Ice Castles in Dillon takes up a full acre and is a must see this winter. There are fire performances at the Castles every Friday and Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. Buy tickets here to reserve your spot.

Summit County Avalanche Safety

On Saturday, February 17, from 12 to 2 p.m., join the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) at Outer Range Brewing Co. The afternoon will consist of a class, demo and raffle all centered around avalanche safety in Summit County.

Live Music Wednesdays

Every Wednesday through April 4 head to Windy City Pizza & Pub for Live Music Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. Excellent live music and a good crowd will make this a mid-week event to look forward to.
