Keystone may be closed for the season, but skiing will continue for quite awhile around Summit County!
At the time of this writing, it's dumping fresh snow in the high country. I'm watching the snow flow down and blanket tree limbs, the ground and the mountainsides. (Here's a solid prediction for summer: With all this moisture, we are going to have an epic wildflower season!)
Copper Mountain's closing day is currently Sunday, April 21; Breckenridge will close Sunday, May 27; Loveland will close Sunday, May 5, and Arapahoe Basin Ski Area is set to close on Sunday, June 2 (or maybe even later, weather permitting). There's still plenty of time to make turns and enjoy the abundance of Mother Nature.
Here are my top picks for Summit This Week.
