Copper To Close Sunday, Skiing Continues at Breckenridge & A-Basin

By Caitlin Row | Tuesday, April 16, 2019

Copper Mountain is closing after an epic season of snow around the high country this Sunday, April 21. Be sure to head over this weekend for live music at the Sunsation festival. Keep reading to learn more!

Skiing will persist on this side of Vail Pass after this weekend, however. Breckenridge will close Sunday, May 27; Loveland will close Sunday, May 5; and Arapahoe Basin Ski Area will close on Sunday, June 2 (or maybe later, conditions permitting).

Vail Mountain, farther west, will close on Sunday as well. Beaver Creek is already closed.

As we enter off-season around Summit County, it's important to head off the beaten track a bit to look for fun and to take advantage of restaurant deals.

With that in mind, here are my top picks for Summit This Week.
