Summit County Appreciates Its Locals This Week

Summit County is showing appreciation for its local businesses, customers and athletes with a variety of different events this week.

April Mixer

On Thursday, April 26, head to Lakeside Bowl & Billiards for the April Mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. Some of Dillon’s favorite businesses will be there. Enjoy a night of networking, bowling, drinks, food, special promotions and door prizes. The event costs $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

Angry James Events

With Mini Pint Day Angry James Brewing is showing its appreciation for everyone who supported the small, local brewery in its first few months of business. Starting at noon on Thursday, April 26, customers can enjoy one complimentary pint of beer. Then on Saturday, April 28, come to Yoga and a Pint from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Purchase a ticket for a yoga class and craft beer.  

Olympian Parade

Celebrate local Olympic and Paralympic athletes Red Gerard, Kyle Mack, Amy Purdy, Chris Corning and Jimmy Sides at the Parade for Olympians in Silverthorne on April 28 at 11 a.m. The parade will start with a procession with the athletes from the Outlets Green Village to the Silverthorne Recreation Center. Then there will be an athlete presentation with Silverthorne Elementary students, a meet and greet, and live music by Homeslice. A special collaboration beer will be tapped at Dillon Dam, Angry James and Bakers Brewery following the celebration.

Off-Season Special

Who says ski season is over? Continue to ski and explore Breckenridge from through June 3. Beaver Run Resort is offering a spring special on lodging and will provide a complimentary direct shuttle to Arapahoe Basin and back. Book your reservation here, and make sure to note if you’ll need the A-Basin shuttle.
