A visit to Breckenridge isn't just for the hardcore athlete and adventurer. It's also a fantastic Colorado location for a summertime vacation if you're expecting.

Here are some fun ideas for your upcoming Breckenridge Babymoon!

Enjoy a Spa Day

As long as you're not in your first trimester, a prenatal massage is a great way to pamper yourself while visiting Colorado's high country. A soothing facial and body scrub are relaxing add-ons worth considering.

Breckenridge's Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center offers pregnancy specific massages. Click here to learn more about spa offerings.

Harmony Health Massage and Wellness Spa, also in Breckenridge, offers botanical facials and herbal body scrubs.

(Here's an informative blog, "Spa Safety During Pregnancy," worth reading if you're planning a spa day.)

Go On a Hike

A visit to Breckenridge doesn't mean you have to hike a 14er; there are a variety of hiking opportunities that are easier on the legs and lungs.

One easy Breckenridge hike is accessed from Carter Park, which also has a dog park.

According to GoBreck.com, "This short-and-sweet hike follows stone steps uphill from Carter Park, which is home to a dog park, pavilion, tennis courts and more. Panoramic views of the Tenmile Range and Breckenridge Ski Resort await at the top of the steps. The distance to the top is easier measured in yards rather than miles, so this is a great short-on-time option. Carter Park is one of several popular town trailheads that provide access to a vast network of town and county trails, so if this short hike just isn’t enough, continue south on the Hermit Placer Trail and loop back via Jack’s Cruel Joke (careful, it’s steep!) and Sunbeam."

Explore the Lake

The Dillon Marina, just a short drive from Breckenridge, offers a variety of boat tours, including sunset-sailing tours and historical tours. Both options are available starting in June.

The Frisco Marina, on the opposite side of the lake, also offers a classic boat tour; reservations are required!

Dine Out

Breckenridge's culinary scene is varied and delicious, as are culinary scenes in the surrounding towns of Dillon, Frisco and Silverthorne.

We'll see you in Summit County!
