Valentine's Day: Thursday, February 14


There’s no love like self-love. Head to Serenity on the Lake for a Blow-Dry and Manicure Happy Hour on Valentine's Day from 2 to 4 p.m. The salon will be offering a $10 wash and blow-dry and $10 express manicures with complimentary champagne. Gift Exchange

Can’t decide what to get your significant other for Valentine's? Bring them down to Ready, Paint, Fire!, where you can choose from a variety of pottery and crafts to make for each other. Enjoy Kir Royal drink specials while you paint anytime between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Date Night

Head to the World’s Highest Distillery, Breckenridge Distillery, for Valentine’s Dinner with Chef Richard Calton. The multi-course meal is sure to impress any date. Tickets are $100 per person and can be reserved for 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. See the menu here.

Comedy Show

Laugh until you cry at the Valentine’s Comedy Show with Tom Papa at the Silverthorne Pavilion at 7 p.m. A regular on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Conan, Tom Papa is one of the best comedians in the country. He's the star of Come to Papa and several hit TV features and he's sure to leave you in stitches. Purchase tickets here.

If you’re heading to the show, make an evening of it and have dinner at the Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks in Silverthorne. Their five-course meal is $75 per person and includes a glass of champagne. Call (970) 262-3636 to make a reservation.



This weekend is Subaru WinterFest at Copper Mountain. There will be giveaways all day and the opportunity to test the latest gear, eat free s’mores and snacks, enjoy hot beverages and dance to live music. Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real will perform in the Burning Stones Plaza at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, and Langhorne Slim & the Law will perform at 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 17.

Chocolate and Wine

Didn’t get enough wine and chocolate on Valentine’s Day? This Saturday, February 16, from 1 to 7 p.m., Continental Divide Winery in Breckenridge is hosting a custom tasting of the winery’s award-winning wines and premium chocolates.
