Spring is in the air, and Summit County is ready to celebrate! Get ready for a big weekend of Saint Patrick's Day celebrations, dancing, eating and playing outside with friends. 

Wine Tasting Event

Basecamp Wine and Spirits is holding a Wine Tasting Event on Friday, March 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. Come taste some of the local favorites to prepare for your next gathering.

Spring Fever in Breck

It’s the best time of the year for skiing and riding in Colorado, and Breckenridge is celebrating with Spring Fever. From Saturday, March 17, to Thursday, March 22, enjoy blue skies, special events and awesome deals around town.

Copper Uncorked

On Saturday, March 17, Copper chefs are competing for the best wing recipe and wine pairing. Come to Copper Uncorked from 1 to 4 p.m. to try wine and wings and listen to live music by the Pine Beetles. Tickets are available online.

REI Garage Sale

The REI Garage Sale is this weekend, and members will have access to crazy deals on “as is” merchandise that has been used and returned to the store. The sale goes from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be Red Buffalo coffee for the early birds in the morning.

Epic Pass Tenth Birthday

The Epic Pass turns 10! On Sunday, March 18, head to Keystone Resort from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a full day of celebrations. There will be Mountaintop Sweet Treats, a live DJ and a Riperoo EPIC ice cream party, and the Swing Crew will be performing at Last Lift Bar.

Saint Patrick’s Day Festivities - Saturday, March 17

Murphy’s Irish Pub is having a St. Paddy’s Blowout at 4 p.m. There will be prizes, drink specials, giveaways and traditional Irish fare, and Brad Curry and Keith Synnestvedt will be playing live music.

Gold Run Nordic Center is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day 5K starting at 9 a.m. The first annual race will run along the Nordic trails. The race is $30 per person and $20 for people younger than 17. Register online.

Bakers’ Brewery is celebrating from 6:30 to 9 p.m. with free live acoustic Irish and blues music featuring Todd Johnson. There will be stout and Jameson specials. Bakers’ will also be serving corned beef and cabbage.

BreckInsider is hosting a Luck of the Rockies St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl at 11 a.m. The all-day party will include live DJs and food deals. The fun starts at Napper Tandy’s and will make stops at Angel’s Hollow, Blue Stag, Gold Pan Saloon, Motherloaded, RMU, Tiki Mana Island Grill and, finally, Historic Brown for the Closing Party. Costumes are encouraged.
