The aspens are turning, the cider is flowing and the hogs are roasting. Get ready for fall (and ski season) and enjoy this week's outdoor events before the temperatures drop.

Powder Daze

Get winter started with the best deals of the season at Powder Daze. From August 24 through September 4, A-Basin staff will be at the Christy Sports at 8601 West Cross Drive in Littleton to help you get a jump on winter. Amazing multi-day, transferable and Kids Free to Ski packs will be available for purchase.  

Breckenridge Hogfest

Breckenridge Hogfest is this weekend, August 24 to 26. It will feature bacon and bourbon during a three-day drinking and eating extravaganza. Whether you attend the VIP pairing, the grand tasting or the Sunday brunch, your taste buds will thank you.

Cider Circus

Cider Circus at Copper Mountain will host an array of entertainment from Thursday, August 23, to Saturday, August 25. Come sample craft ciders and brews, dance to live music and enjoy jugglers, mimes, clowns and acrobats. There’s even a Big Top Cheese Pairing on Friday at 6 p.m. Click here for more information and tickets.

Annie

Breckenridge Backstage Theatre presents Annie at the Riverwalk Center. Enjoy the classic musical on Friday, August 24, and Saturday, August 25, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, August 26, at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $15 per person.

Gathering at the Great Divide

The 43rd Annual Gathering at the Great Divide is coming up on Labor Day weekend: Saturday, September 1 through Monday, September 3. It's held in Breckenridge on Main Street and Wellington Avenue. More than 100 artists will be displaying their finest art. Sunshine Artist’s top 200 Fine Art Festivals list named the Gathering as the #13 best Fine Art Festival in the country.

Fall Fest Art Festival

 

On Labor Day weekend, August 31 to September 2, don't miss the Fall Fest Art Festival in Dillon. The free three-day event will showcase 50 fine artists from around the nation. The festival is raising awareness and funds in the spirit of World Alzheimer's Month. Purchase donated pieces at a silent auction.
