Community Get-Togethers This Week in Summit County

October is here and Summit County is celebrating with live music and community events. Rock out to free tunes, share your favorite dishes and join the locals for some good clean fun this week around Summit County.

Free Concert at RMU

Split Window is playing this Thursday, September 28, at 7 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Underground. The eight-piece band from South Park plays an exciting mix of pop, blues, classic rock and reggae. There is no cover for the show, and all ages are welcome.

Cabaret with Amy Jo

Lake Dillon Theatre Company presents the Soirée with Amy Jo as part of the Cabaret series. The popular New York City act will show on Friday, September 29, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $19.

Live DJ at Napper Tandy's

Every Saturday at Napper Tandy’s Irish Pub is Live DJ Night. From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. come dance the evening away with delicious food and beverages.

Summit County Preschool Fundraiser

Support Summit County Preschool (SCP) this Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Comedy Night Fundraiser. Enjoy a dinner by Bagalis, a silent auction and belly laughs during Sam Adams' performance. Tickets are $30 per person. The event will take place at the Frisco Lodge. This is an adult only event, but SCP is offering free babysitting. Tickets and reservations can be made at the preschool at 70 Main Street in Frisco or online

Potluck Mondays 

Show off your cooking skills every Monday night at the Broken Compass Brewing potluck. Starting at 7 p.m., bring a dish to share and enjoy tasty treats and cold brews. After the crowd votes on their favorite dishes, the winners will win free growlers and pints of beer. Keep an eye out for the themed potlucks held once a month.
