Breckenridge Sawmill Museum

Breckenridge Heritage Alliance, Breckenridge Sawmill Museum

Open year-round sunrise to sunset. The historic structures standing in Breckenridge today could not have existed without the sawmills that processed trees cleared from local hillsides. One of our newest attractions, the sawmill museum offers an outdoor, self-guided tour of the equipment used by earlier frontiersmen to cut and prepare timbers for construction. Boreas Pass & Monroe Road
Directions: From the Breckenridge Welcome Center (203 South Main Street), travel south on Main Street and turn left on Boreas Pass Road. Drive 3/4 a mile and the sawmill is on your right down a short hill.

Price:
Free, $5 suggested donation.
